AAGold/Ruby flying B777-300ER from LAX-HK and as I was selecting seats I noticed a definition of "Priority Seats" used by Cathay Pacific.
http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/Cat..._777-300ER.php
Basically it says:
>>>
Cathay Pacific Airways has designated a number of 'Priority Seats' on this aircraft for passengers with disabilities. Any passenger (other than a qualified passenger with a disability) assigned to a "Priority Seat" is subject to reassignment at the airport if such seat is required by a qualified individual with a disability.
<<<
I'm booking somewhat late, so don't have many choices it's either 56A which is a disability priority seat, or seat 65A all the way in the back with the narrowing of the aircraft <sigh>.
My question is if I go with 56A, what's the risk of getting re-assigned? Does having status matter? There is 31 (center and aisle) both sides open. But I really don't like bulk-head (no space to store stuff) and gets cold (for me) next to the exit.
I've never seen this "Priority Seat" for disability before and tried to search but didn't find any mention of it.
TIA!
