you have to clear customs & the take your bags to the next terminal....they are tagged on to the final destination so the airline doesn't question the allowance since they know you just came off an international flight....
That's not what I meant. What I meant was whther the airline for yor onward connection would have a baggage drop off facility after customs. The airline with your onward connection might be departing from a different terminal, as is the case with 9W and DL.
