My Primary Address on my Delta account was based in Tokyo until a few days ago, when I switched it to the U.S. address so I could redeem my Delta miles for Amex gift cards. I'll be switching back and forth pretty often, depending on what I need.

I have the U.S. Delta Amex, which I acquired recently, so having a Japanese address is no problem at all for that card.
