I like the W South Beach idea too. Staying at the JW Marriott Marquis in downtown Miami this weekend and walked around the Fontainebleau and W South Beach resorts while checking out South Beach and it looks like a great scene.

Can't justify paying $450-600/night for a standard room there versus the $80/night for my 1br suite at the Marquis but with the use it or lose it FRNs, it's a killer deal. Since Summer is the low season in Miami, once it cools down the rates will only go up so using the FRNs will present a even better dollar value. If the group likes to lounge by the beach and go clubbing at night, the location can't be beat.
