I don't mind the Lucerne -- given the choice between it and the prev-gen 300, I'd take the Lucerne. The 2011 has both Bluetooth and USB, so it's actually not too bad tech-wise. I also like the heated steering wheel.

In terms of interior quality, it's definitely a product of the "we're trying" GM; not as good as the new "we can compete" GM, but certainly better than the "we don't care" GM.

As for the Grand Marquis, Crown Victoria, and Town Car, there's just something novel about these anachronisms in today's modern automotive world. The roar of the V8, the column-mounted shifter, sofa-like bench seat...it's like driving a time machine.

I was surprised that the Town Car's retail base price is $47K. Makes you wonder how much National actually pays for them in bulk.

Enjoy them while they last; 2011 is the last year for the Crown Victoria, Town Car, Lucerne, and the Cadillac DTS.
