So I turn up at EDI last night (already £1 to use the drop off zone) where my lift home is waiting in the short stay car park.

I put the ticket in the machine, which shows £3.50 for a 30 minute stay, shove the BA Amex in the slot and am told that £3.61 has been debited.

Looking at the small print on the front of the machine, they now charge a 3% surcharge for credit card use.

Fortunately I have a choice and am flying from GLA this week.
