I didn't see if the OP was on a paid ticket, or whether it was on a reward ticket. I'm going to guess reward since he's asking +330 days in advance.

For some reason, I have found almost no Star Alliance Reward availability on FRA-YVR in F (even though it's sold to public on the paid website March-Sept).

There is lots of Reward availability FRA-SEA on the A330.
