The "T&C" for SkyMiles states (on page 6) that the quals and bennies for Medallion are laid out on that webpage (the one I linked above). That particular webpage also says for more information, you can go to:

In short, I don't see the stretch at all, I see clear wording saying that my status was achieved with the 30th and 60th segments. I further see bonuses listed once status is achieved (not applied or updated).
Having said all that, if anyone has a link to any T&C for Medallions beyond those two links, I'd like to have them...
You clearly earned the status 30 and 60, but the validity period of that status is what is in question.
In older versions it was clearly stated.

Now, I can not find even a hint of the actual terms (another dl.com post merger improvement).
But the fact that the terms are not spelled out does not make them whatever you want. By your argument my PM status will be valid forever since DL forgot to say otherwise.
