This has been a good week for Amex / BAEC freebies. First was a Gold Hilton Honors card and offer for 6000 miles with the first 2 days (confusingly I had just re-registered with HH but this does not seem connected). The following day I received mail from Amex with 2 passes for 2 people for security fast track at LHR and 2 vouchers for £10 off duty free (no minimum spend or other conditions).
Maybe not major things but do make one (or at least me) feel somewhat valued as a customer.
