My most recent reply to their most recent email:
Who is Mr. YyYyYyYyYy? My name is Mr. XxXxXxXx. Are you now discussing my account with another member? (or was that your way of indicating how valuable my business / account is to you?)
There is no misunderstanding, you are not following your printed rules, and I am asking you to follow them.
I earned Silver Medallion status with my FIRST flight (segment 30) ON June 11, and therefore AM due the bonus miles for segments 31, 32, and 33 (also June 11) regardless of when your system updates my status (24 hours later). Further, I earned Gold with segment 60, and am therefore due the gold bonus for segment 61.
Segment 31 - MCI - SLC on June 12 = 919 miles no bonus (30 segments = silver so segment 31 should mean 230 bonus)
Segment 32 - DEN - MEM on June 11 = 880 miles no bonus (30 segments = silver so segment 32 should mean 220 bonus)
Segment 33 - MEM - MCI on June 11 = 500 miles no bonus (30 segments = silver so segment 33 should mean 125 bonus)
Segment 61 - MSP - MCI on July 9 = 500 miles, plus 125 mile bonus (60 segments = gold so segment 61 should mean 500 mile bonus)
I expect you to honor the terms of your written rules. Three of your staff members have now told me to expect these miles to post within 48 hours. Each of these staff members has now failed to do so.
If you can direct me to the section of your rules that states that mileage bonuses are only credited for flights after your system updates status, I'll drop it. Otherwise, frankly I'm past frustration as this has taken more than two hours of cumulative time to have my account adjusted to what your rules state I'm entitled to.
I realize that 950 miles isn't really a large number, which is why this is particularly frustrating. I sit and watch people complain about things and receive thousands of miles. I don't complain, but instead expect you to follow your own rules and am told you will three times only to later be told you will not observe your own rules because your system indicates status is updated 24 hours after flights. I really don’t care how long your database programmers have built in for you to update records. What I care about is being able to read and understand what is due when, and being able to count on that. This is NOT a small issue to me, despite the small number of miles.
I realize whoever picks up this email will be reading this issue for the first time, because your system is not designed to re-route replies to the same rep. I apologize if my tone sounds harsh and short, as it is directly representative of the four times I have had to contact you (and the three times your representatives have told me to expect the correction, followed by another "sorry we won't do it anyway" email) regarding this issue.

Dear Mr. YyYyYyYyYy,
We regret any misunderstanding that may have occurred concerning our procedures.
Our records indicate on June 11, 2011 you were not Silver Medallion. So the flights on that day that date are not eligible for bonus.
I realize this is a disappointment, and trust you will understand our position. We hope you will continue to make Delta your airline of choice.
Sincerely,
