Just finished a one nighter there, my second in a year or so; identical experiences.

$370 for a corner room. Asked for an upgrade at checking, was told "that would be a suite, and there aren't any." Get to my room and look online; 13 different rates for a suite.

Anyway, out to a late dinner and back to watch TV and fall asleep. No CBS or ABC TV...same as last time.

Here's what I don't get: why doesn't SPG just drop the upgrade perk. It is the source of so much frustration, lying and bad will...they've been upped by Hyatt at this point and are only doing themselves harm.

I know that's for another thread, but the fact they don't see the reality demonstrates how out of touch they are.
