Another home run, Canarsie
It was well worth the wait. Your trip reports are fantastic. I did get a bit concerned, however, that you were going to make me wait until the next installment to find out whether your room at the Hilton had the view you were hoping for
Looking forward to the next installment.</font>
Thank you once again,
obscure2k, for your wonderful feedback. I truly am grateful.
By the way, I definitely have more “cliffhangers” to present in future posts of this trip report. If the “cliffhangers” presented in this report keep you in suspense until my next installment, imagine what it was like actually living through them!!!

Awesome report Canarsie !!!
I would agree with you in all aspects of the report....
However, I personally enjoy the formal nature of the Hilton Exec Lounge. Otherwise I have seen people come straight from the pool (dripping wet !!!) and try to come in to eat, or worse still to take food away for the family of 17 staying in their rooms ...
The more formal, reserved atmosphere lends itself to a very relaxed evening for the cocktail hour.
Just my Euros' worth ...

Excellent point,
JAP. I agree that the strict adherence to the rules and policies is not necessarily a negative aspect. Unfortunately, as in many other situations and scenarios, it only takes a few to ruin it for the rest of us.
Thank you also for your positive feedback!

Edited to add that if you

I would like to take this opportunity to once again thank everyone for their patience thus far. It is quite time-consuming writing a detailed trip report such as this, and I want my attempts to be successful in helping FlyerTalkers not only vicariously live out as many of the aspects of my trip as possible, but also to assist anyone who has any similar plans to the ones presented in this trip report.
This may sound like a cliché, but if I can help even one FlyerTalker make better-informed travel planning decisions and have a better travel experience as a result of this trip report, then it all has been well worth it.
