I always [if available] take 63B ... officially Exit Row. I am competent and fit, and can spell "Door" and read the labels!
My wife takes 63A, and is perfectly capable of getting between the seat and the cabin wall to get out without climbing over 64B.

We will be first down the slide, once we have ensured [by looking through the window] that the escape route if clear and safe. Otherwise, we may become one of those statistics ...
