Are you expecting a "happy ending"?

Perhaps an interesting question actually...

IME when departing BKK F lounge on an airline other than TG I'm asked about half of the time "Mr BTG would you like a massage today". I rarely take up their offer, and I never ask, but it's offered nonetheless (50%). I honestly think it just depends on availability, and how much the lounge crew like you.

How much does the lounge crew like you? Well I usually give them a box of chocolates or something. You know e.g., like pay the outrageously overpriced box of three macadamia nut choc package and they'll give you one for free. I give the extra package to the lounge staff.

I have always tipped the massage staff (when I did partake) usually about 500baht because it's meaningless money, and I appreciated their service (excluding anything sexual).

I'm confident the spa and lounge staff communicate amongst themselves so that may mean I'm specifically offered massage appointments given my propensity to tip (even though I'm an Aussie). And some of that money may end up in the hands of the referral staff.

I don't know, but those are my experiences.

BTW, I have never had a massage person older than e.g. 30 years massage me (maybe 50 visits), so I was surprised by the comment before that some old dragon worked there. And they've always been women.
