I used to think that way but now as long as there are flights to my destination after the one I'm booked on AND I don't have any pressing engagement, I will take short connections to save a buck. I had a 40 minute DTW connection (DL Connection - Mainline) this year and I made it easily WITH a Starbucks stop!
