None of those are explosives detection devices. Despite TSA propaganda the pornoscanners/cancer boxes do NOT detect explosives (nor, of course, do the old WTMDs). Let's all at least acknowledge facts and admit that BKS/MMW scanners look for "anomalies" not explosives.
Maybe the "puffers" will come back! At least those machines, despite their flaws, are actually designed to detect explosives.
Not sure how this new incarnation of "extorted traveler" will help me in the short term at DFW. I already have an express security lane as a frequent flyer at DFW, two in fact, they're called the DL checkpoints in Terminal E!
