Sapain Northern Mariana Islands

I was researching Sapain Northern Mariana Islands as a possible Milage run in the summer.

Here is the itenerary:
Wednesday July 17th
SFO-Sapain via HNL and Guam
Leave SFO 9:05 AM arrive Sapain the next day at 8:05 PM.

It gets even better you leave Sapain at 4:30 AM on July 29th going via the same route and arrive SFO at 5:24 AM on Wednesday. I have not seen such an itenerary going to the furthest US protectorate.

So my question to you is do I need a passport to go to places such as Guam,America Samaoa and Sapain? I have a feeling that I don't.

How is Continental Mircronesia? They say they fly on Boeing 767 from HNL-Guam.

I got the fare for $1200 a person can I get it down to $600 or $700? Im willing to go to Manila for extra miles.

They say the rainy season starts in July is the weather still nice with short rains like in Hawaii?

I want to hear from you. Just imagine flying from JFK-SFO-HNL-GUM(Guam) to Sapain still being in the US. I would love to see a non-stop flight from JFK-Sapain.
