All this discussion about extra allowances for FF's or elites is well and good, but has anyone any real experience flying out of HKG, econ class, able to bring on as cabin baggage, say one legit carry on bag, under 7 kg, plus one computer bag (whether holding computer or other personal effects) also under 7 kg, or were they forced by check in staff to check one of the bags? Am I going to be the one to test this situation when I take my trip in late August?
