United Airlines ATL-ORD

Well, Christmas time was over, and I decided to visit my family a little extra this year in Atlanta, before going home to Illinois. I had a flight on United Airlines on January 2 (and after browsing other trip reports, it turns out NorthwestCRJ was also on this flight- let alone one row in front of me). Well, Chicago had bad fog, so the line was humongus- maybe 210 people. I did get to go in front- because I had a nonstop flight. I waited in the gate T15 for a while, the got some food at Blimpie Express. Lucky for me, the plane arrived from SFO, not ORD.

United flight 332, ATL-ORD A319 N825UA Seat 8F

The flight was uneventful, there were about 20 people onboard, so I moved from row 20 to row 8 (Economy Plus), like the flight attendents suggested. The doors to our Airbus A319 were sealed, and we pushed back about one hour and 30 minutes after our scheduled departure time. We took off at about 9:30 EDT. I do have one question- during climb- the engines would accelerate- deacclerate-accelerate-deacclerate...etc Is this normal? Drinks and pretzels were served, full-can service and you could take unlimited pretzels . For this less than 2 hour flight, a movie was shown, The Fighting Temptations- they even started the movie before pushback. The had it on when we touched down, too. No holding pattern (I get them all the time when I fly into MDW) and we landed in Gate C20. Baggage was at claim 6- which had 5 other flights there- I waited there for about 30 mins. before flight 332 bags came. My friend picked me up- I actually used the AirFone and let her know that we took off. She dropped me off at home. Good service by UA. With this flight- I am now United Premier! Well, its not that cool.

Questions and Comments are welcome.
