Chatted up the fellow, and he told me that he was demanding his seat back because he was very upset that CX has booted him off. Looking at the situation it was cleared that the parents with the baby probably claimed the baby-bassinet seat that he probably assigned himself earlier, and then was booted off. However, what amazed me is that he was able to argue his seat back, another case of CX agent backing off from a "gwailo"?
Was he simply squatting and the FAs and the mother are too scared to boot him?
It appears he's in the wrong if he was already booted during check-in, unlike my boss who boarded with the bassinet seat assignment still valid.
