Never travelled with a child in CW, but I would have thought 2 middle and an isle at the back of the cabin with child in 1 of the middles, allows verbal/visual contact between all 3 and if child wants to go round to the isle to see Mum or Dad they should not be disturbing anyone as they can access the isle without climbing over any other PAX.
