I personally think that by the time you are on the plane, seat changes are over with if you are talking about priority or bassinet seats. This couple had several opportunities to request two bassinet seats: point of sale, over the phone, the check-in counter and the gate before boarding. It is inappropriate for the couple to wait to the last minute, and they shouldn't be rewarded for it by having an FA plea (or threaten) on their behalf.
