I'd just comment to the effect that we stayed at the JW KL (twice) during a stay in June 10 and again in Nov 10... on both occasions we thought breakfast was good. In fact I'd say one particular breakfast on a wet morning in Jine 10 where we simply sat in the dining room looking out at the storm and took 2 1/2 hours! to eat breakfast still ranks as one of our 'benchmarks' for a good breakfast around the world.

My only slight negative recollection was that there was no salmon in Nov '10... but the smoothie station was great, there's a dedicated barista, and so forth.

Not disagreeing with the OP who is reflecting his experiences, but we had great breakfasts at the JW KL in 2010.
