Total time for application, activation and point transfer is probably under 10 minutes, all in. Add in 5 min next year to cancel card. Project that out to see what your hourly wage is in savings and I am sure it will be several hundred dollars. No trouble at all.

As long as you will use the free nights before they expire go for it all.
