Is the chair car airconditioned? If so, that's what I would take. By definition, the seats in a chair car are better suited for daytime travel than those in a sleeper car.

Things have changed. When they were first introduced, chair cars used to be air conditioned. The only way to travel in the comfort of a/c was chair car.
For 4 hour journey, a/c chair car is unquestionably the best option.
For day time journeys 2A and 3A are simply padded bench seats with A/C, while A/C chair car will provide you individual seats.
