I was aware of Dodd-Frank, which is why it wasn't phrased as a question, just as a comment.

I simply don't want to get into a political discussion about public policy regarding interchange fees on FT. The ones I have seen tend to generate more heat than light, not surprising as it's all caught up in acquiring mileage.

(I have had to dump a Chase/CO debit card for much the same reason, which was unfortunate, but oh well... but the difference being I got notice of changes in terms.)
