I just thought I owed everyone an update. As I have often read on these forums...people posted inquiries to the thread asking why their application for GE was taking so long...and then got approved the next day....well, that is exactly what ended up happening to my wife and me. I posted on Monday night saying it had been 4 weeks and I got notified of conditional approval on Tuesday afternoon for both of us. Evidently the speeding tickets did not matter too much. I guess posting to this forum seems to be the magic catalyst that causes your conditional approval to arrive!!
