Why CO constantly prices cheaper fare than UA on same flight?
I have been tracking several routing using both UA and CO websites and have often found a much cheaper fare from CO website than UA for the same flight. Does anyone know why?
For instance, I was looking at LAX-TPE roundtrip on UA website during the Christmas season, and the air fare was around $1800. I then went to CO website and looked at the exact same date and same routing, same flight (code-sharing), and the fare was $1300. A difference of $500! (granted different flight number due to code-share)
So next time before you book a flight from UA, try searching it again on CO. You may save some money!
