The SIN-MEL flight has not been retimed. There are no decent connections to Australia on the return flight, and no Qantas connection out of Sydney to Beijing. More than an 11 hour wait on the return flight.

Also, passengers can get Air China in Business Class SYD-PEK for a similar price to Jetstar 'Business Class'.

This must be targeting the PEK-SIN market, albeit with horrible landing slot times.
