The configuration of all the majors in coach means that any person of average height or higher will have his knees pressed-on if the person in front fully reclines. Whether you think it is a right or not, simple courtesy demands refraining.

(And no, courtesy and rights have nothing to do with one another. In fact, courtesy demands forgoing rights out of respect for another human. That is what being courteous is.)

You can scream and whine about rights and airline policy and what the flight attendant says all day long, but reclining into another passenger's knees is rude by definition.
