Welcome to the "information overloaded" century, did you just notice that phenomenon on trip advisor? I see it everywhere for everything!
We have never had so much information and this information has never been so unreliable and therefore in absolute need of constant cross checking.
Which is why one has to use several sources, always.
Doing so in the case of the Park Hyatt Maldives, there are clear and reliable information like air con not working well.
If you want to pay 1000 dollars for a room under the maldivian sun with a so so air con, be my guest.
I say Hyatt should fix everything first and then raise their price to whatever level they see fit but charging 1000 dollars for approximate service is a disgrace.

By the way, Hyatt management answered to one of the trip advisor review.
