These are mainstream rankings. Mainstream travellers are clueless and fall for marketing, hype, and in Southwest's case yuk-yuk jokes.
I just listened to a leisure traveller rant about how her trip got messed up because they had to swap crews because "the crew didn't want to work anymore." We all know that the crew probably timed out or did not have their allocated rest period, but of course the leisure traveller thinks the crew simply didn't feel like working anymore that day.
If you want to influence that kind of crap perception, you need to market more to it with even more crap.
Southwest is the only airline that does not employ sale tactics that would make a used car salesperson look honest.
Companies that never advertise a price list, sell you "direct flights" on which you can miss a connection, fine you if you don't use all the segments you purchased and engage if deceptive "a la carte" pricing should not be surprised to find themselves on the list.
And marketing will not change this perception - honesty will.
