Four Seasons Las Vegas
Booked lowest-level room - upgraded to Strip View room. That worked out great since there was a thunderstorm and you could watch hail ascending and descending with the Strip in the background. Took advantage of the amenities including dinner at Verandah which now really sets the 4S apart from the other FHR properties in town (all of which seem to have gone to spa credits). Folks at the door kindly made the house Mercedes available to take me to the airport.
Pool area had more kids than I might have wanted to see but it wasn't over-run. Mandalay Bay seems to have been eclipsed by Aria as the chic place to go -- clientele isn't what it used to be. Leads to cheap blackjack tables though. At least Pete Rose still likes to hang out in the sports book there.
