Be advised that there is a 24 hour visa stamp and a 48 hour visa stamp. I was originally only going to be in PVG for 4 hours, but got the vdb instead. This caused me some headaches today, but UA staff was exemplerary in working through the issue with Chinese immigration on my behalf. The only downside was I spent 8hours airside today:-(
