Yes, as arriving and departing passengers aren't separated in AMS, you can just turn back to the gate where the inbound aircraft has just arrived. Security check is done at the gate in AMS (for non-Schengen departures at least), so you will have to go through that again (but just a short line, given that only the other pax on your flight are waiting for the checks).
