Great Y service

GM traveling with my two young kids today. Both of them on award tickets, one of those sad days when you have to click "no" on upgrade.

Anyway, since most of my travel is business, I don't end up in coach very often. Maybe this is common, but I doubt it. I will def send a note to Delta thanking them and applauding the FA.

Rolling cart comes down the aisle, guy greets me by name and asks me if he can get me a drink. I say yes, order a red wine for me and a snack box for kids. I pull out a have one on us cert and the one that printed on my boarding pass, and he says "you go ahead and hold onto those, Mr. frege5. We appreciate your business." During the course of the trip he takes my empty plastic cup and refills it with more wine and is as attentive to me as I have ever gotten in F.

Is this common treatment for a GM in coach or does this guy kick butt? Def made me feel special and coach bearable on the 3 hour MSP to PHX trip.
