The FT has expanded its coverage from financial news to other news recently and is a very good paper. It's worth reading whether you work in finance or not. The Saturday edition is much better than any of the others IMHO. If you look on the website you have it delivered free for 4 weeks for £1 as a trial offer.

After that my preference is for the Times over the others, but only slightly. It is not as good as it was since it became a tabloid. It is tainted by the digger's ownership. The Guardian's credentials have been significantly enhanced by the telephone hacking reporting.
