I just changed mine on the BA website. I'm flying CX, but it said there was no charge up to 3 days before departure. Maybe you're paying to talk to a human being. Just go to 'Manage My Booking' & do the do. It might be a good idea to search for availability 1st. The BA site's maddening since it's kept only semi-functional, but 20 mins should get it done. wj
