I'm at least going to try to get some compensation from the somewhat incompetent AF for this.
We actually touched down at 0645 this morning, which gave me almost an hour until my original connection. But then we sat on the ground while maintenance staff argued about our parking for about 20 minutes. It took over 30 minutes from the time we actually stopped at the "gate", until I was inside the terminal. They basically drove us to the far end of the airport and used busses to shuttle us back to the terminal.
The cabin crew were also unable to tell me what caused the delay, except that the A/C arrived late at DEL.
