I was having my teeth cleaned and I had a quick bitewing x-ray. I mentioned the nude-o-scopes to my hygienist. I figured that a lot of people who don't fly very frequently support them. She surprised me! She told me that she would never go through one of them, and she also told her 18 year-old daughter never to go through one. She agreed with me when I said, "Your x-ray equipment is tested and monitored, and you know how much radiation is being emitted. Those people don't know at all how much radiation is being emitted, and the machines are monitored by unskilled workers." She also thought the whole screening process in general was pretty wasteful.

Funny how I thought someone who might be firmly in the AFS crowd was very much against the nude-o-scopes as I am.
