Most other bank run programs guarantee at least 1c per point, even on 10,000 or 25,000 point redemptions and many will allow these lower redemptions to even be in cash.
My "low redemption" valuation of Citi ThankYou points is also highly influenced by the fact that they can't be converted to airmiles.
I am aware of that and that's why my original question was "which flavor or the card". I do not do gift cards - isnt that a fatwallet thing anyways?
For me, the flexibility of TY points gives it a "higher redemption" value than points.
