It seems encouraging that your FT card has expired but the barcode still works. This might correlate with the barcode statement that it only needs updating when your travel documents expire etc.

Perhaps the FT card won't get renewed for me (and you) anyway as we technically won't have three or more entries on it? (they are now via the barcode system??)
