Yes, often, mostly short haul. AFAIK, Lufthansa is using drip coffee machines like almost everybody else. The only (cultural) difference to the US lines is that they serve a much stronger coffee. While I appreciate that, I would not call it good coffee, but adequate. I dimly remember that Lufthansa First has some more elaborate options.

To turn your question around: ever had an Americano or Espresso in a good café in Italy or a Café Crème in Switzerland? That is my measure for good.
