Obvously drugs aren't a problem here since there were no drug related charges filed.
In Atlanta the city paid out over $1 million due to patrons suing. This is the proper way to handle this IMO instead of rioting or staging big protests. This is a much more civil way of handling it, and when the city starts paying in $, especially when facing budget problems......
I don't have a problem with the raids per se, it's the searching and forced detainment that is a major liberties issue. I've maintained, to much chagrin on this forum, that most circuit parties, especially those taking place on public property, should be drug raided - but any search or detainment must be based on articulable probable cause, on a case by case basis, and you cannot just hold every patron and search them.
