AFAIK, these miles will NOT help you so you should not choose them. Wait until your next choice in January/February 2012 and then decide if you want this. Far better to choose one of the other options.

The key message is this is for 2012 status (which you have already earned by becoming Elite in 2011.

"When you choose this Select Privilege, you'll receive Bonus Air Canada Status Miles, which will qualify for your 2012 Air Canada Top Tier status."

The only way they will help is if you think you have a shot at Super Elite (sounds like no)
