Your original ticket was YVR-<destination(s)/Stopover(s)>-YVR (lets omit the specific location/number of intermediate stops for the purpose of discussion here). Based on THAT ticket, and assuming that there were restrictions (though you did not find/see/read them), you violated the T&C's be returning to your origin sooner than the restrictions permitted. Using the YVR-FRA-YVR example.....What constitutes a violation of the minimum stay restriction?
(a) Depart the location back to the origin earlier (either on the same/different ticket)
(b) Depart the location to another place on the same continent as the origin? In this case lets say YYC, YYZ, EWR, IAH etc...
(c) Depart the location to another country within the same continent as the destination (VCE, ZRH, MUC, CDG, LHR, EDI)
(d) Depart the location to another part of the world like SIN, HKG, SYD, BNE, AKL.
If (b), (c) and (d) are also a violation then i can see many violating such rules!
