so if the barkeep has to pop open the top of the beer bottle then pour it in the glass, vs the pressing of the button for the fountain soda, that is the $1 difference?
what if the barkeep has to open a can of diet coke vs. popping open a bottle top of beer, is there a difference in effort then? is it worth a dollar?
I think we can agree that tipping makes no rational sense. I've certainly never felt like it was expected in a lounge (unlike bars where I've ordered a Coke whilst waiting to meet someone).
