Same for me arriving into T3 at 5pm. Took over 5 minutes for the queue to move enough for me to get to the IRIS machine, but no-one else was using it. God knows how long everyone else took to get through. I've never seen it that bad in T3 - there was just a sea of people backing up all the way through the corridor to the steps that lead down to the immigration area.
