On US16 PHX-JFK last Wednesday, there were two dogs in F. I think there were 1 or 2 more in the back. One of those dogs in F was a very well behaved, quiet pug. The other barked a good deal of the time. The FA didn't seem to do anything about it. This made me wonder, what can flight crews do about a pet that's properly caged but making noise?

Interestingly, the US senior management team was seated next to me at lunch today... I was tempted to lean over and ask them this question but I figured that, like me, they'd like to forget about work while at lunch
