Right now I am on 1H on a 747, evening flight, BOS-FRA , my question is how much space is between 1H and 1C? I saw an old pictures that made it look very close to each other. I am a big guy (fat) and I want to be comfortable but I also don't want to get dirty looks from my seat mates for 8 hours. I have never flown a 747 on C. Flight isn't for another couple of months, there is still availability in other rows. I know about the single seat in the middle of the Cabin but it is not available. Any first hand experience will be greatly appreciated.
